RF Cell Coverage Planner for Client-Ready Reports

Model a site from radio parameters, review the predicted footprint and export the assumptions, map and results for a client-ready coverage report.

Run a free coverage prediction

Three fields. One deliverable.

01 — INPUT

The same numbers as the design file

Site coordinates, antenna height, azimuth, tilt, power. If you can read a design file, you can run a study — no API, no GIS layers to configure.

02 — MAP

The coverage, visualized

The predicted footprint appears on the map in seconds, terrain-aware, with signal-level legend. Change a parameter, compare, decide.

03 — REPORT

The PDF your client signs off

One click exports a report with the map, the legend, every parameter and the propagation model used. KML export for Google Earth included.

04 — VERIFY

Predicted vs. measured

Close the loop on site with the free Android drive test app: measure the real signal and check it against the prediction.

Prediction is half the job

Anyone can hand over a heatmap. What ends the argument is the measurement next to it.

Predicted

What the model says

Coverage estimated from the site parameters and the terrain, using standard propagation models.

Measured — coming next

What the field says

Import a log from Network Drive Test and put the real readings on the same map, in the same report. Predicted against measured, on one page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the web Coverage Planner free?

It has a free plan: 5 calculations per month with a 15 km maximum radius, no export. The Pro plan at €15/month unlocks unlimited calculations, PDF and KML report export, your logo on reports and calculation history.

Can I try it without creating an account?

Yes. Run the replayable example prediction without an account. Create a free account when you want to run, save or export your own studies.

What is in the PDF report?

The coverage map with its legend, the site coordinates, the antenna parameters (height, azimuth, tilt, power) and the propagation model used — everything a client needs to review and accept the study.

What propagation model does the planner use?

The planner uses ITU-R P.1546 with terrain data for obstacle loss, suitable for GSM, UMTS and LTE planning in typical environments.

Is the Android app still free?

Yes. The CelliX Android app remains free, with no subscription. It works fully offline and is handy for quick on-site estimates; the web planner is the tool that produces the client-ready report.

Can I cancel the Pro plan anytime?

Yes. The Pro plan is a monthly subscription handled by Stripe: cancel anytime and you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.

Who built this

Twelve years under masts, in four vendor ecosystems. I coordinate site work for a mobile operator and I have climbed enough towers to know what a rejected report costs: a second truck roll, a second day, and a conversation nobody enjoys.

This planner is the tool I wanted on the way out: something that gives a defensible coverage estimate in five minutes and produces a document the client signs off without a phone call.
